NTN South Trails Trail Work

Yesterday, we did some trail work at South Trails! We can’t wait for our team to ride on the trails that we helped maintain! Being a part of the mountain bike community is so much more than just biking.
Thank you to Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. for the safety gear and to Rippling River Resort Campground for allowing us to dine on your beautiful deck after the hard work.
And thanks again to Marquette Mountain for allowing our new team members to use the indoor space for bike maintenance yesterday as well.

  1. Start the Cycle is a cycling team program that introduces at-risk youth to a life full of success through winter fat tire and summer mountain biking. The volunteers and mentors provide the structure for participants to achieve goals and have a sense of belonging. The goal of the program is to complete the 906 Polar Roll Fat Tire Bike Race in February and the Ore 2 Shore Epic Mountain Bike Race in August.

  2. NTN s mission is to secure, develop, maintain and promote the use of a non-motorized trail network throughout the Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
